“K-Aesthetic Surgery Excellence Highlighted with Aileene, Luxx, and Volassom” CGBIO Completes Indonesian Medical Training Academy

  • Advanced Lectures and Live Demonstrations Showcase Korean Aesthetic Surgery Excellence and Enhance Local Medical Expertise
  • Cutting-Edge Procedures and Product Insights with Aileene, Luxx, and Volassom Strengthen Global Trust

CGBIO, a leading company in bio-regenerative medicine (CEO Hyun Seung Yu), announced on the 13th that it successfully concluded the 2024 CGBIO Academy Visiting Clinician Program (VCP) – Aileene & Luxx & Volassom, held on December 2-3 for medical professionals in Indonesia. The event served as a significant platform to introduce the latest aesthetic surgery trends and Korea's cutting-edge production technologies, fostering education and collaboration among global healthcare professionals.

The VCP is CGBIO's flagship training program designed to showcase its expertise in the global market. This academy focused on imparting Korean aesthetic surgery techniques and products to international medical professionals while providing valuable networking opportunities. The program allowed participants to observe live demonstrations of advanced techniques using Aileene, Luxx, and Volassom, offering them a unique opportunity to learn about Korea's cutting-edge technologies.

‘Aileene’ is a hyaluronic acid (HA)-based filler that uses high-purity raw materials, produced with Prism Technology to ensure uniform particle size and structure, enhancing its safety. By minimizing the use of cross-linking agents, it reduces the potential for side effects and allows for easy correction or removal after the procedure.

‘Luxx’ is a PDO (Polydioxanone) thread, primarily used in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures for its simplicity and minimal scarring effects.

‘Volassom’ is a collagen stimulator that promotes collagen production within the skin, composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) and a gel carrier that helps deliver the substance to the skin effectively. Immediately after injection, the gel carrier provides an instant volumizing effect, while over time, the CaHA particles stimulate collagen production within the skin, fundamentally improving skin elasticity and thickness.

On the first day of the program, the lecture was held at ‘Change Clinic’, followed by a seminar featuring both lectures and live demonstrations. Dr. Seung-ho Han (Director, Ewha Medical Academy) gave a lecture on the anatomical structure of the face and neck, emphasizing the importance of a layered approach to the skin to safely perform filler and skin booster injections while protecting nerves and blood vessels.

Dr. Doo-Yeoul Chang (Director of ‘Change Clinic’) presented a case of combined treatment using calcium-based filler Volassom and hyaluronic acid filler Aileene, showcasing how the complementary properties of the two products lead to clinically safe and effective treatment methods. He also explained the characteristics and practical applications of PDO thread sutures, providing participants with real-world application strategies. Following this, Dr. Chang demonstrated live procedures on the back of the hand and forehead, vividly showing participants the practical techniques and results in a clinical setting.

Dr. Jee-soo Kook (Chief Director, It’s Me Clinic) assessed the condition of the patient’s face, explained the necessary treatments, and performed a combination procedure using Botox, hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers Aileene, and calcium (CaHA) fillers Volassom. The treatment covered not only the neck and eye areas but also the entire face, providing participants with insights into the latest techniques and practical clinical knowledge. On the second day, participants visited CGBIO's advanced production facility, CGBIO S-Campus, where they had the opportunity to observe the production processes of Aileene, Luxx, and Volassom firsthand.

Participants gained a thorough understanding of the characteristics and benefits of Aileene, Luxx, and Volassom through the lectures and live demonstrations. They expressed high satisfaction, particularly with the speakers' live demonstrations of the procedures and their thorough responses to all questions. The factory tour, with its detailed explanation of the production process, significantly enhanced participants' understanding of the products. Following the program's conclusion, certificates of completion were awarded to the participants.

Hyun Seung Yu, CEO of CGBIO, stated, "This VCP provided a valuable opportunity to globally showcase Korea's advanced aesthetic surgery technologies and cutting-edge products. It was significant that participants were able to observe and learn the application processes of Aileene, Luxx, and Volassom, and gain practical skills they can apply in clinical settings."

He added, "CGBIO will continue to strengthen global trust and expand its presence in international markets through ongoing exchanges with global medical professionals and in-depth educational programs, further promoting Korea's aesthetic surgery expertise worldwide."
