(Bogor, Indonesia, November 18, 2024) Daewoong, a leading global pharmaceutical group from South Korea, is recruiting outstanding Indonesian talent to foster future world-class professionals. This year, the company is actively seeking talent at the Job Fair organized by the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), held at the IPB Innovation Plaza, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor, West Java, on November 15-16, 2024.

 

Daewoong announced that it will host a booth to directly accept applications from candidates attending the event. Daewoong is offering nineteen diverse positions covering Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Production, Engineering, Medical Officer Research and Human Resources (HR) across its four Indonesian affiliates: PT. Selatox Bio Pharma, PT. CGBio Neoregen Indonesia, PT. Daewoong Pharmaceutical Company Indonesia, and PT. Daewoong Biologics Indonesia.

 

Each position requires specific qualifications and experience. Candidates are encouraged to review the detailed job descriptions to ensure they meet the necessary criteria.

For two decades, Daewoong has recognized Indonesia as more than an international market, positioning it as a collaborative growth partner through joint research, local production, social contributions, and talent development. Recognizing the outstanding potential of Indonesian talent, Daewoong has been committed since 2009 to supporting the development of local expertise by offering scholarships and internship opportunities to Indonesian students. The company has also established research centers and mentorship programs to foster advanced skills and capabilities.

 

Daewoong opened the Bio Technology Research Center and Bio Analytic Center at the University of Indonesia (UI) in 2018 and 2022, respectively, and launched the Daewoong Drug Delivery System Laboratory (DDS) at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 2024, expanding Indonesia's bio and formulation research infrastructure. In June 2024, Daewoong entered into an MOU with IPB to establish a primate research center designed to enhance the accuracy of preclinical studies and cultivate skilled veterinarians. In addition to building state-of-the-art research facilities, Daewoong assigns highly qualified experts to support the advancement of new drug development capabilities among Indonesia’s promising talent.

 

Since opening its Jakarta branch in 2005, Daewoong has celebrated 20 years of shared growth with Indonesia. In 2012, Daewoong established Daewoong Infion, Indonesia’s first biopharmaceutical production facility, enabling technology transfers for biopharmaceutical manufacturing and providing Halal-certified EPO and EGF medicines. Remarkably, Daewoong’s API EPO gained the top market share within just six months of its launch in Indonesia and is now exported to South Korea. To strengthen local production through technology transfer, Daewoong completed the construction of a state-of-the-art stem cell therapy facility, in 2024.

 

As part of its ongoing commitment to Indonesia’s health and well-being, Daewoong has actively engaged in various community support initiatives. In 2019, Daewoong provided free health checkups to 1,000 firefighters and offered spinal treatments to 100 firefighters in need. To enhance medical expertise in Indonesia, Daewoong has also invited Indonesian medical professionals to South Korea for advanced training, equipping them with valuable skills to bring back to their communities. Furthermore, Daewoong established a Korean language academy at Bali’s PPB, offering free courses in language and culture, while also providing employment opportunities for exceptional students to develop into skilled professionals.
