Engineering Manager
Location: PT. Selatox Bio Pharma

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead engineers, scientists, and technicians in designing machinery, planning civil projects, and overseeing production and quality control.
• Direct and coordinate production, operations, quality assurance, testing, and maintenance in industrial plants.
• Oversee research and development of new products and procedures.
• Hire, train, and mentor engineers and supporting staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and resolve internal issues.
• Discuss and lay out project specifications.
• Develop detailed plans to accomplish goals.
• Analyze market demand and available resources.
• Review, approve, and modify product designs.
• Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts.
• Negotiate research contracts and approve expenditures.
• Review and recommend contracts.
• Develop cost estimates and draft reports for clients.
• Improve manufacturing processes and advance scientific research.
• Conceptualize new product designs and ensure technical accuracy.
• Coordinate activities with other units and organizations.
• Confer with higher levels of management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years working in manufacturing highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years management experience, with technical leadership skills for problem solving and conflict resolution
• Extensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles as well as understanding scientific methods of problem solving
• Demonstrated ability with cost analysis, product design methods, interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate all of these skills to a productive cost-effective result
• Competent with CAD systems, DFA, DFM, FMEA, DOE, and FEA
• Skilled in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
• Excellent program and project management skills with strong document management
• Excellent analytical skills including the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, process, change and improve design and equipment
• Familiar with legislative requirements and automotive OEM procedures (domestic and transplants)
• Strong presentation, written and communication skills in English or Korean
• Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to non-engineer team members in a clear manner
• Able to manage multiple projects and tasks
• Able to work effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Professional and mature demeanor under stressful conditions
