Anesthesiologist Assistant (Penata Anestesi)

Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist Assistant to join our esteemed healthcare team in Bali. The Anesthesiologist Assistant will work closely with anesthesiologists to ensure the safe administration of anesthesia during surgical procedures, while providing exceptional care and support to patients throughout their anesthetic experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with anesthesiologists in the preparation and administration of anesthesia during surgeries, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Regularly check and maintain the inventory of anesthesia medications and supplies. Ensure that all necessary medications are accurately stocked and readily available for surgical procedures.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients from the initiation of the anesthesia process until they are fully awake and safe for discharge. Monitor vital signs and patient responses throughout the procedure, intervening as necessary to ensure safety and comfort.
• Prepare, assemble, and sterilize anesthesia equipment and instruments according to the specific needs of each patient and the requirements of the anesthesia plan.
• Assist in the post-anesthesia recovery phase, ensuring patients are stable and ready for release under same-day discharge protocols, providing reassurance and answering any questions they may have.

Requirements

• Active STR: Must possess an active nurse license (Surat Tanda Registrasi - STR) to practice in Indonesia.
• Willing to Relocate: Candidates must be willing to work in Bali and adapt to the local culture.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience assisting anesthesiologists in a surgical setting, demonstrating knowledge of various anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring.
• Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in English at a conversational level; additional language skills are a plus.
• Open-mindedness: A willingness to learn new techniques and approaches and be receptive to constructive feedback in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications

• Language Skills: Proficiency in other Asian languages such as Korean, Mandarin, or Japanese is highly desirable and will be an asset in communicating with diverse patients.
• Educational Background: Preference will be given to candidates holding a certificate as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or those who have received formal training in anesthesia practices and treatment protocols.
